KASTO Maschinenbau GmbH & Co. KG - Schalkau

At the beginning of the 1990s, KASTO establishes a branch plant in Schalkau, Thuringia. Today, the KASTO plant stands for the assembly and production of small to medium-sized KASTO metal sawing machines for straight and mitre cuts. In addition, the Schalkau site produces various storage systems, especially tower storage systems for long goods and sheet metal as well as the stacking yokes which are widely used in the steel trade.

At the customer's request, sawing machines are also completed with the corresponding feed and automation equipment.

After the Schalkau site was continuously expanded, the usable hall area is currently 8,020 m², of which assembly and storage take up around 7,600 m².
