The KASTOcollect push cut-off sorting system, which is equipped with an apron conveyor system, offers a usable sorting distance of 2,400 mm. This system enables cut-offs and slices to be sorted on both sides, ensuring flexible and efficient sorting. The conveyor belt drive is frequency-controlled, which ensures precise control of the transport speed and therefore optimum adaptation to the respective requirements.
The push-off movement is realised by a hydraulically operated cross pusher, which enables the parts to be sorted to be positioned precisely. The sorting positions can be individually programmed to adapt the process to different product specifications.
At the end of the conveyor belt, it is possible to sort off-cuts and offcuts into a separate scrap container. The scrap container is not included in the scope of delivery. This well thought-out arrangement helps to make the production process efficient and optimise material separation.
