A cross-moving double roller conveyor is an efficient solution for minimising non-productive times in sawing processes. It enables the simultaneous disposal of offcuts and the reloading of new material. The system optimises the material flow and increases productivity by reducing non-productive times and supporting continuous operation.
Functional description of KASTOload slide
Roller conveyor 1 is responsible for the active sawing process, while roller conveyor 2 performs preparatory tasks in parallel. Once the sawing process is complete, an automated changeover takes place, whereby the remaining bar is returned to roller conveyor 1 and the next bar of material is made available for the sawing process by roller conveyor 2. This system enables continuous production. All operating elements are centralised and integrated in the machine.
